ABOUT

Hi, I am Tim! I am passionate about music, coming from a family of musicians. I have played classical and electric guitars since my teenage years, influenced by Yngwie Malmsteen, Marty Friedman and Jason Becker (and their band Cacophony), as well as by Gypsy Kings in Spanish/flamenco guitars.
When studying in Budapest (1994-1997) I played in a country-gospel band ("Jordan Special", or JS) touring all over Europe and doing live and studio recordings. When in JS, I primarily played country rhythm/lead guitars, backed up the main solo singer as a background vocal (tenor), occasionally singing solos on my own too.
I have moderate experience in playing bass guitar as well.
One thing I can promise though is an excellent feel for music, the ability to improvise even within unknown musical terrain, a pretty good collection of very melodic ideas that can be used for some powerful songs (ballads, Celtic, country, folk).
