ABOUT

We are an alternative band based in Toronto that was created by two people in 2022 in Ukraine and has been releasing music since 2022.
We are usually described as a post-punk, grunge, gothic metal or shoegaze band. We would add that we have some doomy, slow stuff coming soon.

We changed a few band members before starting to gig, and our first live show was in 2024 in Kyiv. We were actively gigging back in Ukraine and had a chance to perform with cool bands like Ogyda and Thy Despair.

We have some audience, mostly in Ukraine and Europe, but we have moved to Canada, and now we want to translate some of our songs and keep gigging here to find a local audience.

One of our songs is currently being played on the Ukrainian radio, and we have around ~1.5-2k listeners on Spotify.

The band was named after a dark, ethereal song of the famous deceased Ukrainian post-punk artist Skryabin as a tribute to him.

We are looking for a drummer, a guitarist and a synth player.

You don't necessarily need to contribute to music itself if you want to just enjoy gigging and playing with us, but we are always open to your ideas. Also, it's fine if you are a not an advanced player, so don't hesitate to contact us if you liked our stuff.

Influences

Our biggest influences are: Type O Negative, Strange Boutique, and Mistmorn (Ukrainian indie artist), Skryabin. So basically 90s and everything similar.

Also, some stuff from late King Crimson and The Beatles; early Deftones, Alice in Chains; Quorthon's Album (that's a name of the album lol); Crowbar, Pantera.

We don't sound like some of these bands at all now, but we experiment with our music all the time in the search for our sound, and they are definitely part of the vision.

We like heaviness, dirt, but blended or alternated with ethereal, chorusy, floating and sometimes haunting melodies and harmonies.

There are two of us currently:
Gleb - vocals and some guitar
Matthew - bass and back vocals

EQUIPMENT

We have a modest home setup for recording, some vocal and guitar processors and pedals for live shows, and we play in B Standard/Drop A.
