I have been playing, writing, gigging and recording semi-professionally for the past 15 years or so. Primary instrument is guitar but I also play bass, drums, mandolin and some other stuff if needed. I have a good rehearsal and recording space. I have worked on a number of recordings in different capacities (player, writer, producer/mixer/mastering, etc). I write a lot of original music (not including lyrics/vocals).
Ideally I am looking to start a new group or join an existing group. I would like to find a vocalist/songwriter. Current projects I would be interested in would be:
- Americana/Folk-Rock/Soul (think Dawes, Hiss Golden Messenger, Andrew Bird, Bahamas, John Mayer)
- Art-Rock/Alternative (think Dirty Projectors, Blake Mills, St. Vincent. Poppy but weird interesting stuff)
- I also have some stuff written that's more like Latin/Klezmer/World music of sorts.
