Grab your board and set out into the sun, surf, or snow with The Rising Tide and their laid back tunes. With songs like Coastin’ Wave Motion, Trick Of The Year, Set Out, Surf’s Up, and Coast To Coast, you can tell these boys like to ride. They show their more serious side with songs like Scapegoat, about laying blame without self reflection, and Cease Fire, a pro peace composition . TRT has been spreadin’ their tunes and positive vibe at various venues around Whistler since January 08, put on an energetic performance at The Telus World Ski And Snowboard Festival in April 2009, and rocked the Barn Tent at the Pemberton Festival which featured artists such as Tom Petty, The Tragically Hip, Nine Inch Nails, and Cold Play. The band is stoked about all of the support they’ve received so far, and are anxious to finish their debut album. The release party is expected to be in June of this year.
