I only started seriously drumming 3 years ago, and I am older so I have been madly trying to catch up and build my skills. I have played hand drums for 25 years, but very amateur as I was under the incorrect assumption that I had 0 talent or ability. Three years ago I was informed that I was wrong and had a musician friend sit me down and show me that I could learn. So here I am. I feel that working alone in my garage is okay to work on my skills, but I know I do so much better when playing with people and not just recorded tracks. I spend 1-3 hours daily practicing and learning and am still very green and need to build confidence. I would love to write songs as well. I have many bits of lyrics and ideas and just need the right people so we can put it all together and create a vibe!!

Influences
Everything. Music has been a major part of my life since I was 4. I had much older siblings so had access to different record collections. Early influences The Beatles, The Doors, The Who, Queen, lots of 70s Bubblegum and Pop, then I got the NWOBHM bug.
80s Hair Bands, Melodic Metal, AOR all part of my most favourites. I love a great groove over a wall of sound. Current favs are Extreme, Yungblud, Halestorm, Imagine Dragons, Sleep Token, The Darkness, Vanden Plas, Art Nation, Seventh Crystal, Daughtry but I love World Beat, Blues, and alternative music as well.
