The Beautiful Mess is an alt/pop/rock duo comprised of multi-instrumentalists Thom O’Neil and Colin Anderson. After two years of writing and recording in studios and makeshift bedroom vocal booths, they’re excited to release their debut EP Optional Illusions.
Being influenced by Mother Mother, Alt J, Half Moon Run and Barenaked Ladies, The Beautiful Mess brings several different styles together to play and intermingle, creating a sound that is both familiar and original.
We are in the process of releasing the digital copy of our album and planning on playing locally in Toronto to start building a fan base and moving forward, looking at touring around ontario and Canada when possible.
We are in need of the following:
Drummer
Background Vocalist/Synth
Rehearsal 2-3 times a week
Gigging hopefully 2-3 a month at this point and possibly weekly in the future.
