ABOUT

Hi all,

"The Side Project" is a Vancouver-based Americana, Roots Rock collective that blends soulful harmonies with clever storytelling. We are an all originals band and draw musical influence from blues, rock, folk, soul, and gospel. As a band, we care about community, connection and inclusiveness and weave together stories and melodies that resonate with the heart, provoke thought and tickle the funny bone.

We are currently looking to replace our soprano vocalist and BG singer and thought we would try Bandmix to see if there is a good fit for us out there. If you play an instrument like the fiddle or the mandolin in addition to singing (or play something else fitting with in our sound) that would be a bonus. Moreover, if you consider yourself a singer-songwriter and have songs that groove with the feel and intention of the band, there may be an opportunity for us to cover one or more of your songs (material dependent).
