The Misguided is an acoustic trio based in downtown Vancouver that showcases original compositions and covers rock classics. Our violinist is moving to Spain to pursue a master's degree so we are looking for a new violinist to replace her.

We have been together for a year and a half. We have had 6 gigs and we make pretty good money busking in the summer. We are looking to polish a setlist of original music and headline Sofar Sound concerts by the end of 2023. We are committed and seeking someone that can learn their parts on their own time and come prepared to rehearse with us once a week.

For our covers we want our new violinist to be able to figure out how to play what they have to play on their own. For our originals we have violin parts written out in sheet music we want our new violinist to accompany us with. There is plenty of solo space to go around and we always enjoy a good jam.
