Hello all,

TDP is looking for a vocalist and guitarist to join the team. The ideal candidates we are looking for is easy-going, creative, and overall an team player when it comes to music (writing and performing). This individual must be comfortable and committed to working on new music and to performing live.

Vocalist - We are looking for someone who can take our music and add their flare to it. Someone who is comfortable with working with a range of rock/metal music, melodic and (at times) fast pace song. The singer does not necessarily need to be a 'screaming/growler', but should be able to adapt their voice to suite the music (including the heavier songs). Someone we can work with to write melodies/lyrics, and that can take our music and revamp it to their singing style. This person doesn't need mimics what's be done. The singer will need to be comfortable with live performance, and be able to work with the band to create new music. Although not a requirement, someone who has written/recorded music before, or is able to write melodies/lyrics, is a plus.

Guitarist - We are looking for someone who can play all types of rock and metal music. This person is comfortable playing both rhythm and lead sections of music. Our music incorporates elements of nu-metal, heavy metal, djent, death metal, and hard rock (we recommend listening to songs like Don't Startle The Murder, No More, In The Eyes Of Chaos, Hero, Epic for reference of style range). Some cover songs that we've performed live include AIC - Would?, KSE - My Curse, LoG - Laid To Rest, SOAD - Aerials, Mudvayne - Dig. The guitarist does not need to be a virtuosos or be technically trained, but should be able to play the style of music listed above. We are looking for someone who works well with others (no egos) and is able to collaborate with the band to create unique music. Someone who has written their own music and performed live previously is a plus.

Our goals for the foreseeable future included finishing new music (several songs ready for vocals/release), working on new music (several songs in the early production stage), lining up more shows across the GTHA and possibly Ontario, lining up festival opportunities (NXNE, Guss, etc.), and overall continuing the momentum that TDP has going.

Own gear is a must. Travel for rehearsal (Toronto, Etobicoke, and sometimes Hamilton) is also required; but this gets worked out with the entire time (ie: carpooling). We all also work full-time jobs, so schedule coordination is a must.
