ABOUT

*** CURRENTLY SEEKING DRUMMER ***- Please Listen To Posted Music For Style Needed (live shows & recordings) ***

Hello all,

Toronto based Metal/Hard-Rock band The Divine Project (FB & IG @TheDivineProject) is currently seeking a permanent drummer. Our debut album ‘In The Eyes Of Chaos’ is available on any music platform for you to listen (feel free to check out few links below to listen to our sound).

We are currently working on new material for our follow-up album, as well as wish to continue promoting/touring #ITEOC. we are searching for a drummer who will be willing to take this chance to play shows and help with writing/finishing new music. This drummer needs to enjoy our music, as well as be comfortable/skilled, available and ready to begin playing shows as soon as possible (continuation of show bookings will be postpone until we have a drummer in place).

We understand that the drumming done in the recordings may be (at times) difficult to pull off; however we’re not necessarily looking for an individual to mimic what is played exactly. The drummer we are looking for should be able to listen to the music, come up with a pattern (whether similar or completely different) that compliments the style and feeling of the song. This drummer should be able to play for the music. For example: if the drumming creates a beat completely different than what is recorded; however makes the same impact/creates a better impact/atmosphere for the song; we are more than willingly open/good for changing the drumming pattern overall. However, if the drumming creates a drum pattern (say for a slower song) and turns it to a faster/upbeat song, then that may not work since it’s changing direction/feel of the song overall.

Should you have any questions, or if you are seriously interested in trying out, please feel free to email Eric any time at erivera2 (@) live.ca.

We look forward to finding the newest member of our team.
Cheers,
