My best buddy is an amazing vocalist and a solid, accomplished rythm guitarist. He, and I, write prolifically. He has a radio-ready country-rock single written, produced, and recorded using studio musicians, including members of the infamous Road Hammers. We are using this single, and the ones to follow, as the central points of a blues/rock/country band. Our goal is to build an extremely.professional band to, with strong harmonies, to play in bars, lounges, and at festivals to start, and to see where that takes us. I'm 60, Darcy, the singer, is 55. We aren't novices or inexperienced. Both have road experience, both making our living by playing, when that was still possible.
