Influences
I like a broad range of music but tend towards (classic) rock, (thrash) metal, 70s soul, and alternative (which, admittedly, is a broad nebulous category). Some examples of each I like to play: Led Zeppelin, Steely Dan, Megadeth, Municipal Waste, Marvin Gaye, Bob Marley, Faith No More, Stone Temple Pilots. The list goes on, but you get the idea.
