ABOUT

New to Montreal and looking to create and share in a musical experience.

I started off playing in bands - Hard rock - in the 90's. Then started wondering around the globe. Playing music when I could. This lostness led to developing my own style as I usually had an acoustic guitar and what ever else I could find. I found a cheap recording pedal one day and discovered looping / layering. Its super fun. I like to write music that builds throughout and peaks before leaving you wanting more. I prefer to find the music when jamming, start with a musical idea and go from there. The last band I was in I was playing bass and it was a full on jam band. We'd play gigs without a set list. Ask the audience for a key and style then take it from there. Thats super fun as well...

I'd be happy creating music together or if you have your own ideas / songs I would love to add to what you have written. Super mellow and just happy to play.

I have also performed colabs with DJ's playing festivals where I would accompany their set with a range of percussion instruments. This I find extremely fun and would jump at the chance again.

Influences

early on it was RATM / chillys and all those geat late 90's rock / hard rock bands. In the naughtys I moved to move earthy tones like Xavier Rudd / John Buttler etc. The last decade has been an exploratory one for me as I have opened up my senses to every type of music I can find. Theres really nothing I wont listen to (doesnt mean I like it all) just that its been great to hear what artist have produced in different styles and learn what they have been doing
