Hello and Thank You for reading this ad. I am seeking a male or female who first has music as a very significant PASSION in their life. My intention is to resume performing in the near future as a duo (POSSIBLY,POSSIBLY ADDING MORE PERSONNEL LATER) which I had established 7 years ago and recently dissolved due to my partners family requirements. I have played guitar off and on for over 40 years and music, besides caring for my mom, is where I focus most of my energy presently. For the past several years I have been mostly performing to EARN a living. I have performed solo, as a duo, trio and full band in a variety of venues and perform a wide range of music. I am very open minded when it comes to my like for many genres of music. I grew up as a "choir boy" in church and have been singing since I was a child. Vocal Harmonies are "my speciaIty". I also play drums fairly well but I'm no Alex Van Halen!!! :), a little bass, keyboard,brass ( from my high school years at Joseph's\Michael Power). (I'm a quick learner when it comes to picking up an unfamiliar instrument)
I have a significant number of venues awaiting my return to playing ( I recently had to take a break to care for my ailing mother due to diminished health) and I am looking for the "RIGHT" , NOT PERFECT, but "RIGHT FIT" in a music partner who is VERY COMMITTED and wants to enjoy performing (not just playing music) and earn decent compensation in the process. I live near Sherway Gardens mall in south Etobicoke at the bottom end of highway 427 (South of the airport).
