I enjoy any solid music with room for bass & drums. I've played most forms, but prefer latin rhythms, r&b, reggae, worldbeat, some jazz and standards. I have helped a number of singer/songwriters to develop and record their works. I have a well trained ear for chord structure, harmony, rhythm and feel. Lots of recording over the years; Lisa Hart Band, The Bells and Ocean; others more recently, but less known.. The first "bar band" I played in was Ronnie Hawkins,1968-9.

Influences
These days I listen more to songs than artists, listening for material I can identify with! I used to listen to Sting and way back, The Average White Band.

Besides my bass gear, I have a small P.A. and lots of speakers! I collect and repair speakers as a hobby
