ABOUT

MY LITTEL BIO

Playing bass guitar for 30 years, singing for 15,
went to private music school (Lorrayne Bowering was my home room teacher, and my nic name was Richard Wagner)(took some piano, and vocals, some theory & dictation, and I have been studying some drum score for 10 years because it is how I program my MIDI drums), and westviking college for sound (Neil Bishop was my homeroom teacher). Before I moved from Stephenville to St. John's I worked with HM Audio and Would do both French Festival shows by myself and on the last shows I multi-track recorded it completely. Talks between the committee and the performers fell through but I still mixed a CD for my Father Inlaw and he absolutly loved it. I also multi-tracked my family jam concert held in Mom's front yard. I worked at Canadian AV Inc for 2 years.

After the movie Jaws I began to hear bass in a different way. Because I am such a Rush fan, I tried to mix like Geddy lee. It really helped when I mix bass in the right way so that it maintainsall the rich, and tasty tamber of the other instruments & vocals.

(I am so receptive (more like succeptable) to sound that a certain arangement of sound signitures can bring me to tears)

I played on one of the very few one-piece-bass-guitar bands (called TRUBIA)on the island. I was a favorite in a Bar called The Causeway Lounge. I was up against full piece bands and yet I was the highest paid, and top band. When I played in Boyd's Cove People came all the way from Gander to catch my shows.
