My name is Solly. I live in Nanaimo, BC and I am 29 years old.
I've played in power punk bands, heavy metal bands, cover duos, and as a solo acoustic act. I've played many shows and have gone through a bunch of equipment.
I currently work M-F, 8-4.
I'd like to get back into playing live. I won't restrict myself to one band/genre. I'd like to try my hand at a jazz/acoustic/pop kind of act (like Sondre Lerche) or likewise fill in as a jazz guitarist for a vocalist. I get nice tone out of my Washburn.
There's not many styles I don't like so if you have some talent and want to get something going the genre is really less important than the chemistry and composition.
I also think doing a bluegrass/garage/rock kinda thing would be sweet too.
