Looking for a DJ/Producer/Songwriter to join my group and form a duo permanently. I write, produce, mix and master. I also play guitar, drums, bass, sing, rap, scream and am currently learning piano and a bunch of software synths.
In search of someone who can contribute to songwriting and performance, but my main need is someone who can be on a laptop during sets, triggering stems off serato or traktor or a similar program, so that I can be free of playing backing tracks off my phone. Because of this, I'd ideally like someone who has experience writing and structuring songs. I like improvisation so you are free to edit and remix songs on the fly. Good stage presence is a bonus too. Your own laptop and gear is a must.
Not really picky on locking ourselves into a style so we'll be free to do whatever as long as it sounds good. I'm pretty experienced in rock, hip hop (especially 90s-00s) so someone with jazz/soul experience would be a nice fit.
