Music is becoming a part of my life again, after a big life change in moving across the country (originally from Ontario). I am not looking for anything specific, and in general would enjoy chatting with other musicians and music lovers for the time being. The MAIN genre I am interested in is Baroque Pop/Rock, though I like to dabble in Experimental and just fuse sounds together. The more kinds of instruments the better.

I have a modest amount of musical experience - taking three years of keyboard lessons at a music center as a child, came back to study another three years of keyboard course in high school, took up trumpet through middle school (two years in the school band), and high school (three years in Repertoire, and two years overlapping in Orchestra). I am currently interested in taking up a variety of keyboard-utilizing instruments (I currently own and play Melodica..and hope to get bells soon), and started a collection of practical percussion instruments. I know how to read music in treble and bass clef, and have basic knowledge in musical theory; enough for a good platform and starting point to expand my horizons. I am casual (that may change quickly), but do not completely rely on tabs.

My only involvement currently in playing/watching music involve monthly jam sessions that take place at my home (comprised of my mother's music/music loving friends), and the occasional open mic night at other establishments.

Fun Fact: The Drummer of (former?) Band "The Marble Index", Adam, lived across the street from me when I was a child.

Another Fun Fact: Maclean of "The Kevin Maclean Band" was a high school geography teacher of mine. During a high school "awake-a-thon" he sung two songs for the band I was currently in as we "opened" for his actual Band.

Feel free to drop me a message if you want to know more, chat or just say hi. :P
