I’ve been playing the cajón for the past 4 years, and during this time, I’ve developed a strong connection with its rhythms and versatility. The instrument allows me to explore a wide range of beats, from deep, resonant tones to sharp, crisp slaps. Alongside this, I also have a solid understanding of the harmonium, which has helped me develop a deeper appreciation for melody and harmony. My experience with both instruments gives me a unique approach to music, blending percussion with melody in a way that keeps my playing dynamic and creative.

Influences
My musical influences are quite diverse. I’ve been really inspired by the rhythms of Afro-Cuban and Flamenco music, especially how the cajón plays such a big role in those genres. I also love exploring world music and how different cultures blend rhythm and melody in unique ways. Artists who play the harmonium have influenced the way I think about harmonies and layering sounds, which I try to incorporate into my playing. Overall, I’m always looking for new ways to mix traditional and modern sounds, constantly drawing from different genres to keep my music fresh and expressive.
