Band to Join, Acoustic Guitar, Keyboard, Piano.ABOUT
I work part time and am hoping to fill the other half of my time with performing with a guitarist or band/writing music. Most recently I’m hoping to find a guitarist or keyboardist to accompany me at open mics in Toronto.
I’ve been singing since I was 9. I trained classically in high school and would perform jazz standards at random events. I lived in Dublin for 6 yrs and twice a year we got a band together a to cover songs to perform in concert venues there for a college event and would cover songs by Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, Beyoncé. I also did quite a few acoustic nights. Since then, I’ve been doing some song writing with a producer for fun and working on improving my vocals even further. Music and singing are my passion. I’m confident in my voice and I’m just looking for people with the same passion who are down to earth and down to jam!
If you’re a guitarist willing to accompany me at open mics in Toronto, the 3 songs I’m hoping to start with are I Heard Love is Blind by Amy Winehouse, Say A little Prayer cover by Lianne Lahavas, and Listening for the Weather by Bic Runga. If you are open to playing those with me, I’m hoping to perform at some Open Mics in Toronto in May so let me know!
