I began playing music at the age of 7 with my first instrument, the piano. This was my introduction to theory and performing, as I began entering competitions at the age of 9. The piano wasn't quite what I was looking for, so when I was 10, I picked up the guitar. The guitar wasn't the answer either, so at 14 I began playing the bass, and fell in love. While it's been years since I touched the piano in earnest, I continue to play guitar, using it as a channel to write and for a little variety.
As a bassist, I have gigged with local metal gurus Morally Sound, and am currently holding down the low-end for classic 80's hard-rockers Riff Raff, as well as a now-defunct original act I co-founded, Random Design.

These are the players and the bands that have influenced me the most. I always have my ears open for a new idea, and my musical tastes are quite eclectic, as I believe inspiration can come from anywhere. I'm also a big fan of variety.
