Skilled and committed intermediate saxophonist seeks another fun band to play post-punk/darkwave, rock, jazz, jazz fusion, big band, gospel, blues, Latin, funk, world, or ska music evenings and weekends. Proficient reading music, but prefer improvisation and playing by ear. Looking to form a band with musicians who want to play post-punk and/or darkwave (e.g. classic bands like Joy Division, The Psychedelic Furs)), so seek a strong bass guitar player who will carry many of the songs, synthesizer player, drummer, electric guitarist, and baritone vocalist. And ideally one of you would be a very solid songwriter or could work with some original (or not) compositions and bring them to life.
