    Still Water Pond

As I cast a pebble upon a pond.
Still water vanished the pebble was gone.
Reflections of a young man disappeared,
    they'ld be gone.

With the ripples that travelled the drifter
    was gone.
He travelled for years as he sauntered along.
With time he cast thunder as he hurried along.
Day of still water were gone.

Well it seemed like a long time ago.
When he broke that still water just barely afloat.
Oh Lord, how do I get home?
    How do I get home?

Life seemed a hurricane. Then he heard the voice.
Go on back to the pond where still water broke.
He escaped from the storm that he lived in so long.
As he opened up his Soul to the voice that he
    heard oh so strong.

Found himself back at still water pond.
Still water pond. Still water pond.
    Still water pond.
