    To The People I Meet © 2004

All I had were day time dreams.
    Until you came along.
You gave me hope and you gave me strength.
You showed me right from wrong.

I owe my life to the people I meet.
And I Pray for the ones who are
    left out on the street.
They those people who call them weak.
You don't know all the tragedies
    that lay at their feet.
    Oh Lord, Lord, Lordy Knows.

I did not know which way to turn?
I did not know which way to go?
You took my hand and you led me on.
You led me on this path I'm on.

I owe my life to the people I meet,
and I Pray for the ones who are
    left out on the street.
They those people who call them weak.
You don't know all the tragedies
    that lay at their feet.
    Oh Lord, Lord, Lordy Knows.

Now my dreams have all come true.
And I owe it all to you.
I have no fears of what's to come,
after what I put me through.

I owe my life to the people I meet,
and I Pray for the ones who are
    left out on the street.
They those people who call them weak.
You don't know all the tragedies
    that lay at their feet.
    Oh Lord, Lord, Lordy Knows.
