ABOUT

I’ve been playing guitar since I was 15 years old. I have made many friends who played guitar through the years and learned a lot by jamming with them in high school in university. Was part of an informal “dad band” that played a few gigs before the pandemic. Since then have invested a lot of time learning about songwriting and recording and have built a well equipped home studio. Looking to put a group together for weekly practices and would be interested in playing a few gigs. Open to creating originals or doing covers. Interested in making new friends through music and learning from those with more experience. I will put in the effort to make any project as fun as possible for those involved. Can host regular practices at my studio.

Influences

- Early 80’s pop was a huge influence (“MTV era”)
- Van Halen then turned me into a music lover for life
- As the 90’s rolled around, my tastes changed with the times (goodbye hair metal, hello Grunge and Alternative)
- SRV and the blues became a big influence which paved the way to “non commercial” country music
- Now I’m a blend of all of these influences.
