ABOUT

Name’s Queen B. I use She/Her pronouns , I’m an out and proud pre-op Trans Woman and I’m a Polyamorous Lesbian but very single right now. Anyway I’m half blind. Literally my right eye doesn’t work. I’m a content creator/influencer professionally although this is still a really new career path for me. Music is a part of that but mostly I’ve just always wanted to sing lead vocals in a band that thinks I sing pretty good or decent enough. I know most chords on guitar and I used to be good at alto saxophone but it wasn’t my favourite. I’d love to learn drums now as my taste in music has shifted towards metal, hard rock, punk and emo type stuff. But I’d love to form a band with some cool people and incorporate them into work and just hangout with them and be friends. I sound pathetic and lonely but I’m actually pretty great. If you’re interested in forming a band with me as a frontwoman DM me on my : ityagirlqueenb

Influences

Well directly my love for music wasn’t like because of one particular singer. I’ve listened and sang along to all sorts of songs and artists and imagined it was my performance. If we’re talking what is my singing style similar to? Then I would say it’s kind of a mixed bag. My vocal range sits in the higher tenor range but I have a little falsetto and I can also do a couple bass notes sometimes. Back in high school I was a soprano. People were surprised at how high I could sing. We performed “So long, Farewell” from The Sound of Music and I hit the highest note in that one on the world “goodbye” in the middle of the song. Off the top of my head I can’t remember what note it was although my gut’s telling me it was a C. But lately I’ve been singing Rise Against, Coheed and Cambria, Dropkick Murphys, Avenged Sevenfold, Nickelback, Slipknot, Billy Talent, My Chemical Romance, Black Veil Brides, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Pat Benatar, Simple Plan. Linda Ronstadt, and so many others. I like stuff with addictive and heavy drum beats and I like powerful lyrics and I like to rock out, plain and simple. Although I’m notorious for making straight song themes gay. I refuse to sing a song that is still hetero in any way. I live for women loving women or hating them if they broke their hearts if it’s that kind of song. I like to make the song relevant to me so…

EQUIPMENT

Well I personally don’t know if I need very much equipment. But I could be totally wrong. So I think as a group we’d discuss what we’d need collectively. And go from there.
