I've been playing guitar for 25 years and can sing lead or backups. Played in a moderately successful alternative band in Ottawa in the 90s. By successful I mean we played multiple gigs in Ottawa, played Toronto a few times and were known in the local music scene. Recorded two CDs. I currently have a home studio and I'm looking for like minded musicians to record covers, write/record original music and play some gigs.
Currently for other musicians who can also sing - bass, guitar, keyboards - to make a duo or trio that can play smaller bars with recorded rhythm tracks. Age and experience is less important than common interests and a desire to present a professional appearance.

Influences
Influences range from pop to classic rock to alternative. Main influences are bands/artists like U2, Mark Knopfler, the Cure, etc. Currently listening to a lot of Dire Straits, Death Cab for Cutie, Stones.
EQUIPMENT
Fender/Taylor electric guitars, Fender bass guitars, Taylor acoustic, lot's of effects, multiple mics, treated basement studio with proper monitors and a solid recording setup, Cubase DAW.
