I am a classic progressive rock drummer I am in the midst of forming a progressive metal band. Currently the project is seeking a fluid lead player and powerful frontman.the covers we would play live would consist of classic metal from the 80's, such as Dio, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Megadeth etc etc. We would like to play classic material that jogs peoples memories and that isn't currently being played to death by anyone else (should be easy as all the new bands/singers are 3 chord players with cookie-monster monotone vocals). Am i on the same page as you? Looking at getting a setlist together and having it down fast and playing out. Please don't waste our time and we wont waste yours.We have no dreams of doing a tour as we work for a living but also need to play and be tight and gigging for fun and some cash.Serious Inquires only. No attitudes please as the only attitude we have is to rock and be consistent, get the covers down fast so we can spend time recording instead of rehearsing and use the stage instead of the basement for playing covers :o)
