ABOUT
Our main focus is "acousticizing" popular rock without softening it or sacrificing the original energy. We're looking for a drummer that has alternative percussion skills / interests (ie. cajon, congas, bongos, shakers, etc). Complimentary instruments and backup vocals would be a bonus. We are the weekend warrior type with 8 gigs pending for 2013 so far, and with roughly 20-25 as our goal. Our song list is almost ready; we just need a 4th member that can attend weekly practices until we finalize our act.

Influences
Practically anything that is, or ever has been, on a top 40 list is on the table although we tend to stay away from slow songs, country and thrash metal, and as long as it hasn't been covered a thousand times already. Influences for us range from hair bands of the 80s, to Adele and Five Finger Death Punch. Dave Matthews, SRV, Big Wreck, The Hip, Pearl Jam, Sublime, etc, but we're trying to stay in the 21st century with our set lists.
Members Of Band
3 cool dudes in the 30-40 age range; 1 singer that plays an acoustic guitar, mostly rhythm, 1 acoustic guitar player, mostly lead. And 1 acoustic bass player.
EQUIPMENT
We use a PA in a sound insulated basement studio space. We usually mic the cajon, but there's room for a full kit too. We have yet to fit our saxophones, harmonicas, mandolin or piano into our music, but it's here and we're learning.
