Hello,
My name is Phoenix Blue and I am working on a Project called the Phoenix Blue Project. I am part of a crew of amazing local artists that are working together to create a musical bridge to marginalized communities at home and across the globe. We are not exclusive to marginalized people but we do alot of work in the communities where life can be difficult and resources are needed.
We are looking for like minded individuals to help us build that bridge. one of our goals is to create a musical hub where groups and individuals can come together to collaborate on a local level, and to create a space for musicians traveling through Winnipeg.
The Phoenix Blue Project works along side the Seeds of Life Alliance www.solawinnipeg.com and the Rainbow Forest Collective @rainbowforest.csa(instagram). We work closely with at-risk-youth, primarily teaching them transferable life skills in areas such as music, art, food, and wood working programs.
The Phoenix Blue project is also a band, We need a DJ and more vocalists and instrumentalists, we are also looking to collaborate with talented individuals who want to join a grassroots movement that helps give voice to the voiceless and a powerful outlet of music to our local and global communities.
