I'm a bass-player - one-trick pony. I have two separate hobby bands: Rockabilly 4 piece where I play upright bass, and Country/Rock/Blues/Pop 6-piece. (clayhillsband.com) We play mostly private parties, about 6 per year.

Full PA, digital mixer, (sound man for gigs), fully equipped practice space. Many basses, including two uprights - one for rockabilly and one for jazz.
