ABOUT

Experienced drummer with years of live performance, Canada-wide live touring experience with bands and recording artists - playing pubs to some of Canada’s biggest and best (and smallest & worst) clubs, theatres, universities, arenas and some of Canada’s biggest (and smallest) music festivals, BVJ, Salmon Fest, Keith’s Anniversary headline, etc. Also BT, CBC, ECMA TV, CTV Live,

More stuff, up to around 2018. Just impromptu in-house jams since that time. So temporarily rusty for band work but keeping up with kit work. Quick to shake the dust off when I have the proper opportunities.

I’m a classic rock drummer at heart, but comfortable across several styles. Reliable performer with a main focus on making the band sound great, when possible.

Looking for the right full-time or weekend band — or occasional fill-in work.

Prefer a working band but open to other situations. Playing in my studio or someone’s garage is fine by me if the situation is a good time with good music and good people

I prefer to use my own gear. I set up & tear down very quickly (10-15 mins) and can bring a very small, high quality kit for auditions, rehearsals or small-stage gigs.

Influences

Rock and pop bands from the 1960s - 2000s. Especially 1970’s classic rock.
Like some modern songs also. Not completely stuck in the past. Just mostly.

Too many influences to list. Favourites include Aerosmith, Zeppelin, Rush, Sting/The Police, Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, Fleetwood Mac, Van Halen, Paul Simon, 3 Doors Down, Steve Earle, Dwight Yoakam, Motörhead, Heart, Soundgarden, etc.

EQUIPMENT

All pro acoustic drum gear + large, modern PA incl monitors, mics, etc and professionally built, large secure, private rehearsal & recording facility.

*I do not currently own electronic drums. Would purchase an e-kit for the right situation, if required.

Not a substance guy. My tempos appeared to go off a tad after 18 beers so I don’t bother anymore. And driving was impossible. Heineken 0.0 is my main poison now. Non- smoker. Have reliable transportation.
