I like to play covers in a band formation, for the fun of jamming and for performing live occasionally, with fellow musicians that don't take themselves too seriously....
MUSICAL PREFERENCES:
I'm into playing popular Rock covers (with keys) of all kinds: Alternative, Blues-Rock, Canadian Rock, Classic Rock, Folk-Rock, Hard Rock, Prog., Southern Rock, Surf...
Examples: Allman Brothers, Blue Rodeo, Deep Purple, Eric Clapton, Genesis, Kim Mitchell, Pink Floyd, Rush, Santana, The Doors, The Who, Tom Cochrane (& Red Rider), Tom Petty.
I also like to be challenged with stuff that's outside of the traditional Rock. I do like *some* Blues, Funk, Jazz-Fusion, Heavy Metal, Instrumentals and R&B. That's especially true when we can collectively make it sound great.
