ABOUT

I love music, all kinds. I sing anything that moves me & I don't really fit in a particular box. I love fusions of styles, odd-couple duets, acoustic covers & mashups you wouldn't think would made sense til you hear it & go, "Yup. I get it." I especially love anything that tugs the heartstrings, uplifts or pumps us up, lets us purge all the pain of our lives, or just lets us connect on some level, to ourselves and to one another.

I have a pretty good vocal range, a multi-faceted tone & a great ear, including making up harmonies.
I co-founded and sang in a band called Reality Check Riffel high school that actually carried on for years after we graduated, and I have recorded in studio twice since then.
I've sang at weddings, funerals & work functions to help people out, but my one professional singing job was 2.5 months of full-time weekdays paid, performing and assisting in the production of a local musical theatre company's 10 day Christmas Show run in which I was one of 8 principles in a cast of around 40. At a disadvantage because I can't read music, I still learned the entire 90 min show by ear, including my part of an 8 part Acapella piece, performing it 14 times in 10 days without incident (except that it was supposed to be a serious piece, but I had a big grin every time we sang it cuz I loved the tapestry of harmonies so much lol)

I will always put the work in as long as I can make time. I work weekdays, I'm a mom of 4 and I'm a search & rescue volunteer board member, but singing is my lifelong passion & if I could find some good artists to make some sweet sweet music with, it could be fuel to get us all through this sh*tshow of a life, and to share with others & help them do the same, cuz that's what it's all about. Music has carried me many a time...let's make music that carries others.
