I am delving into recording and need a good vocalist to finish some tunes. I also would love to find some singer songwriters to work on fresh ideas with. I am very diverse, anything from folk , pop, blues, to hard rock, even metal once in a while. No country! check out my songs on Soundcloud. email me at shorttpaul456@ if you're interested.

Whew! Where to start? I'd rather just say I have my own style, I like polyrhythms and cool chords, and melody! I also love a good groove.

Reaper is my DAW of choice, in it I can program drums and keys (synth) and anything else that is needed for a particular song.
I have a few guitars, acoustic and electric, and a gnarly bass.
Goodbye to Samwise
Goodbye to SamwiseThis was difficult, originally from the musical "Wicked" I had to make this into a guitar song, and Haley Baker also sang on this- doing Frodo's part, great stuff! thanks Haley :) So proud of Amy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The End of Days
The End of DaysThis was a blast to do!
Immortal LoveOriginally "1000 years" by Christina Perry, we had Amy's friend Haley Baker come over to do Aragorn's parts, she did great! Love, Love |Love!!!
Lament for my brother
Lament for my brotherOriginally " if I die young" by the band Perry, I really love this one! and the next LOL!
The Fires of Mordor
The Fires of MordorOriginally "into the fire" by 13 senses, it made a perfect fit.
Galadriels songThis was the first track Recorded, originally "Jolene" by Dolly Parton, I really like how this turned out. FYI, Narwen is another of Galadriels names.
The breaking of the company
The breaking of the companyMan, I mixed the vocals too low and I wanted to fix them even though the project had been handed in ( she got 90% BTW :)but the tracks disappeared, FAK!!!!! it was fun learning Lindsays parts though, such a great guitar player!
The Call of Sauron
The Call of SauronThis song was originally "Compass" by Zella Day, I dropped Amy's voice down an octave and mixed it in to her real voice to try to make it a little creepy seeing as it is supposed to be Sauron! and I should mention, we only had 20 days to complete this so it was learn the song, record the instruments, and the next day record the vocals, the mixing was done all in one day, the last day, so these are all 1st mixes.
The vision of Elrond
The vision of ElrondMy daughter wanted to record 9 songs as a school University class project on Lord of the Rings, this is the opener. Originally "The Prophet Song" by Queen, she tweaked the lyrics so it is now a warning to the council from Elrond about the growing evil in the east, I wish it could have been better but my DAW is old and glitchy so i'm happy we got what we did!
Feeling goodOne of my favorites, it's over a decade since I recorded it, maybe I should finally get it properly mixed .
The Bells of Noel
