I am 58. A trucker, and an ex-pariot New Zealander. I have been living in Canada for the last 16 years. I have been singing in my truck for nearly 30 years.
The song sample was an accidental recording, where a singer song-writer couldn't cut the vocal when they got to the studio. He had heard me sing a few times and asked me to come on and give it a go, I recorded six songs that day while reading the lyrics while singing and recording.
I have written a few songs over the years, some were recorded some have never had music to them.
I wrote a song called Anthem while flying between Calgary and Toronto in 2003, six years before I eventually moved to Saskatoon.
