Lead Vocalist Wanted – Corporate/Event Dance Band (Halifax/Dartmouth)
Established five-piece band (ages 41–61) seeking a versatile lead vocalist to front a high-energy dance/rock band focused primarily on private corporate events, weddings, and select venue gigs.
Our repertoire spans groove-driven classics like Earth, Wind & Fire, modern dance-pop such as Dua Lipa, plus 80s dance-rock anthems and crowd favourites. The goal is simple: polished performances, full dance floors, and repeat bookings.
We rehearse in Dartmouth and aim to book 6–12 quality shows per year. This is a professional, well-prepared, no-drama group of experienced players who value strong musicianship and stage presence.
We’re ideally looking for:
• A versatile all-rounder (female-leaning voice preferred, but open to all)
• Strong pitch, phrasing, and rhythm feel
• Ability to shift comfortably between funk, pop, and rock
• Confident stage presence (comfortable speaking to a crowd when needed)
• Reliability, preparedness, and professional attitude
Live video clips preferred.
