ABOUT

I've been singing since I was old enough to speak. There are opera singers in my heritage and I've inherited the voice.
I received private tutoring during my childhood in theater and operatic voice. My first vocal tutor was a 3rd Gen. Opera singer from Sweden. The second tutor (during my early teens) was the son of a British opera singer.
I've learned how to sing mostly through mimicry and so I can cover many singers. When I sing naturally, I sound between Gordon Downey from The Tragically Hip and Jim Morrisson from The Doors.
My roommate and I (he plays many instruments) used to busk in downtown Montreal and we've built up a significant repertoire.
