Hey all, I'm here to establish my professional connection to music making and other musicians and see where it takes me.
My ideal outcome is to meet other musicians with similar influences and a passion for experimenting and developing powerful music together. I can make myself free most nights and weekends and am commited to pursuing a project to whatever end. If we develop something we can stand behind I would want us to pursue gigs and promote our music.
I have spent years figuring out my voice and am confident in my vocals. I uploaded a rough unedited phone recording of me singing Lou Reed's Perfect Day for an example of one of my vocal styles. I am happy to record something specific if requested. I have also written a lot of lyrics over the years, and immensely enjoy songwriting, albeit I can only express it vocally as I am not proficient at any instrument. I have however recently invested in an Ableton Push and have started learning how to use it alongside Ableton Live, and am excited to start creating as my education progresses!
My artistic sensibilities are rooted in queerness, subversion, and empowerment. I want to make music that makes people think, and feel and speaks to those who need it, like the music I love has always done for me.
