the first rock band was The KINKS, in 1964 they were the
biggest band in England..
bigger than the Beatles and the Rolling Stones..
I am only interested in music which is heavy on GUITAR ... vocals are not much of an interest to me..
I was much more impressed with the sound of Tony Iommi's guitar (Black Sabbath) and Jimmy Page's guitar (Led Zeppelin), than anything else..
and how the band sounded as a unit , Drums, Bass and Guitar..
than any vocals by McCartney ,Lennon or Harrison
vocal bands like The Hollies , Beatles and Crosby Stills Nash & Young don't really interest me

I would love to work with another guitarist to get a 'full sound'
