ABOUT

Been playing for over 10 years & I love jamming. Even if you don't like my style or we don't get along for whatever reason, I'm sure we'd still have a good time jamming.

I'm more or less looking for something to do, and I have a flexible schedule right now. I'll get as serious as the band, and I'll probably duck out if people start doing their own thing and not showing up. But I'm pretty skilled. I've played with quite a few talented and obscure blues players, metal bands, old people, young people, drunk people.. etc.. pretty standard stuff. I could play chords all day, and play lead when I need to but it's not my first choice. I tend to play lead-type solos as a rhythm player in order to add layers of sound to the true lead. I also tend to play with everyone and tweak things here and there to get new sounds in old songs.

I've got a hell of an ear for playing with people on time and on key without instructions, and I can usually manage both guitar and vocals at the same time.

I'd say I'm probably a standard fill-in player in terms of experience. But I listen to the music too, I dont just play it. I've seen a lot of players get caught up in what they're doing and forget to step back and follow everyone else. I can learn most songs in an hour or so too.

Covers are simple for me, no.problems there. I do everything from thrash metal to folk. I have a wide range of original sounds that falls into the realm of blues/metal/rock/alt. Most of those sounds are played intuitively and aren't written down as of yet, so I haven't bothered writing up full songs. If you need a demo I would say no.. let's just jam.

Feel free to ask any other questions you want.

Pretty much nothing but I can get what I need. Basic Stratocaster and Acoustic Yamaha right now. I don't have any stacks, unfortunately. Just a small tube amp. If the band seems serious about having me, then I'll upgrade right away.
