I am a History and Music major at the University of Ottawa and am very committed to the world of music. The cello is the instrument I first learned and have spent the most time playing. I have over 10 years of experience playing the cello and have performed in prestigious venues such as the National Art Center, Château Laurier, and the Niagara Falls Music Festival. In addition to the cello, I have been playing the guitar for five years. Although I am not as experienced with the guitar, I can play many rhythm parts effectively. Although I have not taken explicit lessons for the Upright Bass, Violin, Viola, and Ukulele, the skills I have learned from playing the cello transfer over, allowing me to play them at a basic level. Finally, I took piano lessons for a year, which allowed me to develop the basic skills necessary to perform music on the piano. Performing and creating music brings me immense satisfaction. I have also taught Ukulele, Recorder, Cello, Upright Bass, Violin, and Viola classes. I am pursuing music at the University of Ottawa and am well-positioned to contribute positively to the next stage of my life. Through both performance and teaching, I strive to share my passion for music while continually growing as a versatile and dedicated musician.

Influences
Due to my experience in multiple classical orchestras and my practice with the Cello, I have a deep love for classical music, including composers such as Vivaldi, Mark Summer, Camille Saint-Saëns, and Edward Elgar. However, my main influences are Beethoven, Bach, and Mozart. But once I discovered Black Sabbath, I immediately fell in love with metal. This led me to be influenced by many different bands, including Motorhead, Metallica, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Anthrax, Ozzy Osbourne, Dio, Sabaton, Blind Guardian, Amon Amarth, Alestorm, Iron Maiden, Apocalyptica, Accept, and Manowar. I also fell in love with Rock, and this led me to be influenced by Dire Straits, The Rolling Stones, Rush, Van Halen, Scorpions, Kiss, Twisted Sister, ZZ Top, Deep Purple, The Tragically Hip, and Led Zeppelin.
