I've been playing bass and singing in a church band for about 4 years now but I would like to play some non-Christian music for a change.

Influences
I love music that has a good bass line and makes people dance. I loved disco as a kid and I love Led Zeppelin, Queen, Hozier, Paul Simon, Sting, Ozzy Osborne, Cake, as well. I have a good sense of rhythm and I blend in well musically with others because I listen, and I also practice on my own time so it would be rare that I would show up unrehearsed. I am still learning a lot and working on my chops and theory knowledge.

I have a short-scale Sting Ray bass and a 50 watt Peavey amp. I also have access to a fuzz pedal. I don't have a microphone.
