Hey! I’m Washik—a guitarist and vocalist with 10+ years of experience, including live gigs, solo sets, and studio recordings of my own songs from my home country. I’m South Asian, but my musical upbringing has been deeply rooted in western rock and metal influences. I play lead guitar and also do vocals. These days, I’m staying active by performing live—even if the style isn’t fully my taste. Still, it keeps my skills sharp and stage-ready. I’m a big fan of bands like Megadeth, and other bands that have also influenced me include Pearl Jam, Guns N’ Roses, Alice in Chains, Pantera, Children of Bodom, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Down, Creed, AC/DC, Queen, Eric Clapton, Lamb of God, Cradle of Filth, Dio, Evanescence, Bon Jovi, Linkin Park, Puddle of Mudd, Richard Marx, Skid Row, and System of a Down.
As a guitarist, I’m heavily inspired by legends like Paul Gilbert, Yngwie Malmsteen, Marty Friedman, Zakk Wylde, and Joe Satriani.
