Singing in Windsor, Ontario for 20+ years. Learning under my Grandmother who was a Country singer/musician, a prestigious high school choir and vocal classes taught by the same choir teacher.
Past experiences include singing at festivals, corporate events/parties, charity & private events, nursing homes, schools.
Live bands, pre-recorded instrumentals, karaoke contests, and studio work.
Currently stepping up music videos and hoping to start original music.
I work with many different genres, from country to musicals, rock to blues.
Formerly backups/harmonies in a 7 piece Classic Rock/Top 40 Rock, Blues band, The Sofa Kings - Montreal.
Currently lead vocals in a Classic Rock cover band, Missy & The Mother Truckers.
Looking for a country band, short term/part time voice work in television/film, side projects, or recording projects

Influences

I'm scattered all over when it comes to my influences and all for different reasons.
Growing up there were the greats; Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon and Merle, Hank Jr., Ozzy, Alice Cooper, Joan Jett, Joplin, Heart, Stevie Nicks. No matter where I go with my music their real, raw vocals and talent always prevail.
I look up to those who entertain as well as blow us away with their vocal and writing talents; Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Pink.
I admire the simplicity of music; Caitlyn Smith, Serena Ryder, Dylan Hyde, Ivy.
And the one's who speak their minds; Dorothy, Grace Potter, Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, Alice Merton, Gin Wigmore.
