Young musician, looking to create a few demos this year. Aiming to enhance my understanding of music in general but most importantly in song writing either it be lyrics or being technical on the guitar.
I live to jam, there isn't a feeling that comes close to a good jam. I enjoy the feeling of participating in creating a new riff, or sound that's defiant but catchy. Can't say I'm the greatest at guitar on a technical standard but I definitely hold my own.
I enjoy getting everything out, and leaving it on the stage. Throat torn and fingers blistering, fearing for the next time I pick up a guitar.
Influences
Our Lady Peace - The old, more obscure but still rock sounding days with Mike Turner are my favourite.
Brand New - My favourite band since highschool. I set out to learn all their music I can just about play 90% of their stuff. Once again a very heavy alternative but catchy sound.
Crime in Stereo - Similar to brand new but a bit heavier. If you dig one, you dig the other.
Thrice - Great, meaningful lyrics and harmonies. Unique sound throughout the years.
Rx Bandits, Matthew Good Band, The Flaming Tsunamis, Nirvana. Unique sounds, not overly complicated but fun and they sound great.
