ABOUT

Singer-songwriter and guitarist looking to jam with others. For now I'd like to keep it fun, loose and light. Nothing heavy. Looking for others who are comfortable with improvisation and jamming. Let's see where it goes from there.

I can sing, but I prefer to just play guitar, jam, and compose. Ideally I'd love to start working with a good singer/front person, but I am flexible.

Would like to do a healthy mix of originals and covers (blues, pop, country, soul, and rock) with an emphasis on improvisation and creativity. Looking for others who want the same.

I'd love to rehearse and perform live as much as possible, but my job restricts me to weekend availability.

Peace

Mike

Influences

Dad rock lol... Grew up in the 70s & 80s. My folks had a great record collection. I have far too many influences to list here. Rock, Pop, Country, Motown, Blues, Folk, AM Gold, Oldies, Funk, Punk, Metal. Plus anything my kids and others are showing me these days... As long as it has good hooks, rhythms and grooves, it will do.

EQUIPMENT

I have what I need to get the job done as far as guitars, amps, mics and stands go. I'm gig ready in that regard.

I am gainfully employed, but I can keep my weekends open for rehearsals & gigs. I have a reliable set of wheels... and a stupid number of original songs and ideas.

What I don't have: A warehouse, basement, garage, or PA system - but working on all of it.

What I do have: A Music/jam room. The appropriate recording equipment to write or capture ideas.

*I do know how to capture and edit stuff

*Of course I have no issues with pitching in on the rental of either if needed.
