ABOUT

55 year old singer/songwriter rhythm/lead guitarist looking to form a working guitar driven pop-rock band.

*I am also open to doing duets, a trio, projects/collaborations with other singer/writers and musicians/artist.

I enjoy playing cover tunes, but I'm not interested in doing strictly covers or tributes. Looking to do a healthy mix of originals and covers with an emphasis on improvisation and creativity. “Loose, but tight.”

Not looking for anything heavy at first. Just looking to hook up with the right people for now to see if there's something there. I'm pretty easy going and have a good sense of humor. Just looking for good players who are passionate about music and want to have fun. Vocals are an asset but not a deal breaker if you do not sing. Age is not an issue if you can play. If you write and/or have ideas or material, perfect. If not and you just want play your instrument, perfect.

I can and do sing, and will be happy to fill that role. But I am open to having more than one lead singer, or stepping back.

I am a gainfully employed professional. I want to rehearse and gig as much as possible, ultimately playing parties, bars, pubs, clubs, casinos, festivals, whatever, whenever... I have the time to commit and am looking for the same. Great renditions of cover tunes are an essential part of great shows. But ultimately I'd like the focus to be on creating and performing great pop rock originals.

I work days. I am available most nights and weekends for rehearsals and gigs. I have reliable transportation and equipment.
