Hi, My names Mike. I'm 21 been playing drums since I was a kid.
I am absolutely Obsessed with drums. When its warm in my garage, I play at least 2-3 hours everyday by myself - and weekends sometimes 4-5. I would play full time if I could.
I love all types of genres, but am most comfortable with Progressive Rock/Metal or even a more Alternative or even Psychedelic sound.
Though, if we vibe as musicians, the opportunities as far of genre in my opinion are endless, and I would just be happy to make good music.
I've never put myself out there to play in a band, I can't read Music & my knowledge on Theory is limited to drums, but, My bottom line is wanting to serve the music we play in a tasteful matter, complex yet simple as the song requires. I believe my sense for judging those pockets is a very strong and unique asset.
Also, I love tool so much, that if you wanted to be a tool cover band, I know most of their best songs. (lol)
