Hey, I’m Michael. I’ve been playing and writing music for most of my life, love a wide variety genres, and am happy to getting outside my musical comfort zone as well. I’m looking to make friends with other local musicians, jam, and get involved in the community. Let’s connect if you’re looking for the same!
I play several instruments (see equipment list), but I’m most proficient with guitar. I’ve also previously taught guitar, and am generally comfortable with music theory, learning songs by ear, etc. I have experience playing with other musicians, and have played a few small gigs in the past.
Outside of music, I work as a data scientist in healthcare. I’m typically available to get together on weekday evenings, and most times on weekends.

I’m usually influenced by some combination of my mood, the way an instrument sounds and plays, and the music I’ve been listening to lately. Not exhaustive, but I enjoy:
