My name is Mia Leonne. I am a Chilean multi-instrumentalist, composer, singer, and producer, currently based in Longueuil / Montreal. I have over 30 years of experience performing live, shaped by constant work on stage and long-term collaboration with musicians from different scenes.
I work as a guitarist, drummer, bassist, vocalist, songwriter, and producer, moving mainly between rock pop alt music and folk, while remaining open to other genres and creative approaches. My musical practice is rooted in strong musical knowledge, versatility, and an expressive, honest connection with the audience.
I am an active member of Claudio Narea y Los Indicados, performing alongside Claudio Narea, original guitarist of the legendary Chilean band Los Prisioneros. Through this project, I have participated in international tours around the world and performed at major festivals and venues such as Lollapalooza, Besame Mucho Festival (Texas), Concierto de Conciertos (Bogotá), and shows in Cali, Colombia, Canada, EEUU, England, Spain, France, Australia among many others.
In parallel, I develop my own original music project, where I fully explore my artistic identity. My songwriting has a strong social and emotional focus, incorporating a trans-feminist perspective that addresses identity, resistance, vulnerability, and collective experience.
